Although susceptible to thorns, etc. pneumatic tires offer, a smoother ride over uneven ground when inflated properly, just like your car. The difficult part of moving 600 lbs. on this hand truck might be stability and grip. The wheels are a little more than a foot apart. There is one P- handle. It is bare steel and may be a challenge to hold a heavy, tall load. We use ours to move 200 lb. Potted [plants around the yard, so it suits our needs well. Advice: Modern refrigerators ARE heavy, high and wide. This hand truck would be at its limit. Moral: If you need to move a 600 lb. appliance, rent or buy and appropriate mover.
