And scribbling. It's gotten difficult lately to find this size 6x9", plain white, lineless, paper. The paper holds lead/paint well. The covers are stiff cardboard for extra support. They are wire-bound at the TOP, which all of us left-handers greatly appreciate! And I think it's a good idea to buy a 4-pack to save a bit of $. I experienced ZERO bleed or show through to the back whatsoever, making the reverse just as usable as the front even when filled completely with writing. This is one of the very few reasonably-priced, top-bound, steno-type pads still available with paper suitable for heavy fountain pen use. Very happy to find them as I use them for work notes daily.
