We got this for my grandmother who had a stroke and could no longer go to the bathroom or bathe herself. We originally had a separate toilet and bath seat. But it was difficult to get her in and out of the tub because of how small her bathroom was and she had a hard time lifting her leg to stand up then sit back down. So this made getting her in and out of the bathtub so much easier. The only reason for the 4 stars is because with both of the arm rests on it made the sitting room snug and she was a tiny woman only 120 lbs. so if your larger and want to wipe or wash easily you will need to leave be of the armrests off. We also had to put towels down between the bathtub and the toilet because no matter what we did water would run down the rails and out on the floor. These things however weren’t as hard to fix as having separate seats. So overall the seat worked exactly as we intended it too.
