I purchased a Haswing trolling motor in spite of the scoffs of my owner-mates at a marina which I won't name. The motor performed flawlessly for two years of my dragging it over oysterbeds and cutting up forests of seaweed with my inshore fishing passion. I don't understand why I don't see more of these. Why spend twice the money for the same service? I have since sold my boat with the bow-attached Haswing for a few grand more than I had in it. I'd absolutely recommend this to anybody. I wrote this because I'm looking now at their GPS model with anchor lock for a different boat. When I get this I will have saved more than this one costs!
