Once the application has completely dried, it is safe for dogs to be on the lawn. **Q: will this kill Japanee Beetle eggs in the grass?** A: The Imidacloprid ingredient in this product is a systemic insecticide, the grass will absorb it and when the grubs in the ground eat the grass roots they will stop eating and die. For this to work you will want to put it down in time for the grass to absorb it and when the grubs are young and actively feeding, its recommended to spray this June-July for this to work on the new grubs in summer/fall. To match the Imidacloprid application rates in the professional grade products you would mix up 15oz of this product with 1 gallon of water to spray 1,000sf of lawn. This product is also a contact insecticide and will kill beetles on the lawn in summer, can spray any time you see them. **Q: Can I use this on fake grass?** A: I don't see why not. You are going after the pests. Formula does not effect surface in any way. **Q: Does it work well for subsurface fungus gnats in the soil?** A: Oh, yes. I had a problem, with fungus gnats.
