I had a 'throwaway' type magnifying globe that was a sample given to me by a customer and I really liked it, but unfortunately I lent it to someone and they promptly dropped it and broke it. So I looked around and found this. After getting it, I really love it. It magnifies great and the LED light really makes things stand out, it's a great extra feature for something like this. It even comes with a case that you can use to store it in and keep it clean...but that's where the design flaw comes in. To activate the light, you press down on the the top of it, and then you do the same to turn it off. The only issues is, the case is so tight, that if you put the magnifier in the case and try and zip it closed, it turns the light on. And if you didn't realize this and didn't break it out again for awhile, the next time you went to use it, you may find dead batteries. I found that you can keep it in the case, you can even close the case gently, but you can't zip it closed without the light coming on. Beyond that, I love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Company made it right *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2020* I received the product and used it a few times when the light would not shut. The on/off switch is to press the outer ring and when I pressed it, it dimmed but would not turn off. The company read my review and sent me a replacement free of charge and it has worked just fine.
