First I want to point out the packaging. It was packed well with a lot of Saran Wrap to prevent leaking. Which it did not. As I unwrapped it, you can literally see all the herbs in it. The smell is an earthy herb smell with a little bit of a mint like vapor rub smell. So if you are partial to smell then I do not recommend, but it is a very light oil. In comparison to what I also use is pure Haitian Castor oil. Immediately using this product minus the castor oil, my scalp tingled a little bit, but it felt nice and did not last long at all.
