These coasters do both perfectly. I am in Hawaii, where it’s always about 78°, so any cold drink immediately forms condensation on the glass. Some bars here are even give you a little towel as a coaster. Most bar coasters that are made of thick paper/cardboard don’t work well here, because the condensation dripping down makes your glass stick to the coaster. Then when you pick up your drink, the Koester sticks to the glass and you look like an idiot, or worse, the slimy wet coaster falls into your lap when you go to take a sip. Not good.This product, however, absorbs every single drop of moisture while protecting my tables.
