This is one of the reasons that we started our company Aroma Chips. We we wanted a product that truly smelled like real leather. That's why we make small batches at a time to ensure that our product is at the highest quality and truly smells like real leather. **Q: Do they sell holder other then vent clips to place on rug or table that would protect the surface?** A: No **Q: Are they made in America?** A: I believe they are. I wanted to know the same before I ordered. But I would tell you not to buy them. Try something else. They only smell when they are all together in the bag. Once you disperse to wherever you choose, you can’t smell them at all after the first couple of hours. I had them in my vehicle. Great concentrated place. Unfortunately the smell doesn’t last. Just be aware. **Q: Do these scent clips come with the "vent" clip? Or do I need to buy those as well? SMELLS AMAZING!!! You know how when you buy a car freshener it only lasts for few hours...NOT these! These are powerful. One of these chips lasts about 7-10 days in the hot sun and since you get several chips in the bag...well it lasts a really long time! I love the leather sent also, to me it smells like a new car:) Also after reading some of the reviews about the oils. I just decided to not put them on the dash, the seat or floor and just use the attached clip. These have leather scented oils....of course you are going to ruin your interior if you lay any oil based product on your upholstery or carpet. Thats just silly.
