Changing these names was a good idea, imo. I also really like the short synopsis at the bottom of each card. I don't think this deck is perfect. I don't understand how a herd of unicorns makes sense for the Air Suit (Swords). The 3 of Swords generally has a heart pierced by 3 swords, which imo is perfect for the meaning of this card. This Angel deck has a family of unicorns in a forest - ??? How does that portray sadness that pierces your heart? I do love that the Cups suit (water in the Angel deck) is underwater. Great imagery! BUT, the 2 and 10 of Water are SO disappointing. C'mon - the 2 of Water is the Love card!!! It seems that the artist put the same couple in both of these cards and I feel they do not give the feeling of Love or Fulfillment in any way. Ah well. I have yet to find one deck where I love every card in the entire deck and how the artist portrays the meaning of the cards. I’m very glad that I did. The book and this deck a must buy together item. Since the book uses this deck as reference. The deck is nice to use, it gives a peaceful vive and its very beginner friendly Tarot. Some of the traditional name in some of the cards are changed, and the truth I like the changes is less dramatic and won’t make you think that: “oh, no this card appeared, something bad will happen!!” Example: the Tower card is changed to Life Experience. They are big Cards, making people with small hands have a hard time to shuffle them. These cards can also be used as Oracle Cards. I used 92x129mm card sleeves to protect the card. The cards card stock is very thick.
