This pump seems to take a little longer than that. I had a tire that was low at 8PSI and it took about 10 minutes to reach 34 PSI. You set the pressure maximum before you start running the pump. It doesn't keep the memory even though it's plugged into the car and the display is lit. So, you'll have to set the pressure maximum each time you inflate the next tires. When I tested the tire pressure after setting it to 34PSI maximum, I tested the pressure and the tire was at 35PSI. Slightly inaccurate, but it's better to be over by 1PSI than under. Also, after I coiled up the hose, I walked away with the unit and found one rubber foot missing. I went back out and found it. So, this means that the rubber feet can easily slip off of the unit.
