That said I’m still glad I bought the larger one as it sure was handy when I took my (overpowered) e-bike to the hardware store and bought 90# worth of stuff and hauled it in the Doggyhut trailer (without the dog of course). Worked great! The trailer is a well thought out, high quality build, easy to assemble and fold up, looks great, and is very stable behind my bike. I had to bore out the axle hole in the hitch piece as it was too small for my bikes axle, but an easy fix and it works great. I also had to re-drill the pin/clamp hole in the trailers tow arm as it was not straight and made it very difficult to put the pin in when hooking up the trailer. However, once all set up, this trailer definitely gets the thumbs up from me based on overall value and performance. Easily assembled, and our dog immediately entered it and was able to turn around easily. (he is about 80 lbs and 23 inches high at the shoulder) We did add a thin dog bed to the floor for a bit more comfort but it would have been fine without it.
