Review: Solid Monitor With Great Picture Quality — A Few Setup Quirks to Know About - I picked this up because I already owned a different Westinghouse monitor in the same size and wanted to keep things consistent. The 24" size is perfect for my setup, and the image quality on this one is very nice — crisp, bright, and great for both work and gaming. At the time I purchased it, the price was $99, which makes the quirks much easier to overlook. For that price, it’s absolutely delivering what I need. A few things to keep in mind: Instructions & Screws: None of the screws are labeled, and the manual mentions specific screw types without showing which ones they mean. It also took me a moment to realize the extra screws and plate were for a VESA mount. A simple visual in the manual would’ve helped a lot. Port Placement: Once the monitor is standing upright, plugging in the cables is a bit of a struggle. The ports are positioned in a way that isn’t the most convenient. Button Location: All the control buttons are on the back. Not the most user‑friendly placement, but manageable. Also, it only comes with a DisplayPort cable. If you need HDMI, make sure to order one separately. Despite these issues, I’m keeping the monitor. The picture quality, size, and the $99 price point make it a solid buy — just be aware of these small setup quirks before purchasing.
