Has a great handle, easy to hold. The knot is both silky smooth and a perfect size. It lathers well either in a bowl or directly onto the face. It also is a great looking brush to have sitting at the side of your sink. Oh and no hairs shed at all in use. If you're a stickler for original badger hair brushes, just try one of these. I have a badger hair brush too and it's good but this feels great from new and I've hardly used the badger since. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent shaving brush *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 August 2018* The thing that strikes you first is what a fantastic looking brush this is - the photos don't do it justice.This is an absolute steal at the price - I bought it as a travel brush and am delighted that I did so.My everyday shaving brush is a Kent silvertip badger brush and this was the first synthetic brush that I have tried so was very curious. It lathers up well but is fairly firm, with little spread of the hairs when applied to the face. (You can see from my attached photo how the knot stays firmly in shape even when lathered up). This is unlikely to be a major issue for you, but is the reason why the Kent is my everyday brush because I prefer a bit more "give" when lathering up.Overall the Yaqi is an excellent shaving brush and will keep an eye on them for future products - I know that they have some badger brushes that are likely to hit the UK in the not too distant future... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great brush *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 June 2019* This is a fantastic shaving brush for the money — in fact it's a great brush at any price. The handle is well finished, looks good and is comfortable. The knot whips up lather fast, and feels comfortable on the face. It hasn't shed a hair, even on the first use, and there was no breaking in period or smell of wet dog to get rid of.
