My dog is almost 11 yo & I have used them for several years. These are highly recommended by a veterinary ophthalmologist that I use. **Q: Does it require refrigeration ?** A: No, this product does not require refrigeration, however, it should be stored between 36 -77 degrees fahrenheit **Q: Cat people! My vet recommended this product. But the bottle is so hard to squeeze, my cat is squirming before the first drop comes out. Any advice??** A: It's harder to squeeze than the drops since it's a gel but not as difficult as ointments. Maybe grab the eye drops by this company to practice with. Some cats are harder to drop than others. I can do 2 Persians with this and drops easily, struggle with ointments, and can only pill 1 when necessary lol Make sure you shake it well and warm it up a bit by holding in your palm 30-60 seconds before using. I put mine on the kitchen counter and wrap arm around them with hand up towards their head. Eye drops in other hand. Tilt head back and to the side by holding just in front of ears and with pinky of hand with eye drops. Use thumb of the hand holding their forehead back to pull skin up and then move pinky of hand with eye drops to pull down skin while squeezing dropper. This sounds so difficult when typed out lol it's really not if they are at the right height and you use your upper body in strategic ways (then again, im really only ever worried with my two when it's ginger boys bath time - he's nuts!) **Q: Who makes this eye drop?** A: Seller is I-MED Phama Inc is in Canada.
