Other dance bags can take a beating but you’ll pay a pretty penny for them. This bag is great if the dancer is a little older and more responsible for taking care of their things. This is a soft side bag with a hard shell on the bottom. The rack was easy to set up but needs a responsible hand to do it, if the kid is in a hurry or easily frustrated they could easily tear it up. That being said, my 14 yr old set it up by herself the first time with no help or direction from me. It holds 2 crinolines, 6 outfits, 3 shoes, snacks, and a card game without a problem. The wheels and extending handle work great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Life-changing! *by S***L on June 18, 2019* I purchased this to use for my daughters and myself for our dance recital. All the other moms were SO jealous when I sat this puppy up. I wouldn't hang anything super heavy on it. We fit 11 dance costumes on it with ease, but they aren't very heavy, so it wasn't weighed down. As long as you don't lean on it, it will be just fine. It isn't built for that.It serves an amazing purpose and we had the most organized and easy changing sessions we've ever had in a recital. We even let a dancer friend borrow one end for a few of her costumes, bringing our total to 13 on the rod. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth if you consider what its used for and are reasonable. *by J***A on October 19, 2018* I bought this for my daughters dance recitals, competitions etc. It can get pretty hectic to have to change fast or unexpectedly so efficiency counts. This is a highly quality and durable bag for the price. The bag is made of a durable fabric and has a few transporting, carrying, handling,storing options so props for that. The ONLY issue i think some people would have is with the garment rack. Its dependable but this is taking in my daughter would only need it for 5-6 costumes at the most, its wont hold much weight, maybe 15 pounds. Keep in mind that dance competition bags are typically more expensive and crappy. This can also be used for vacation, work and other purposes as it does not look like a frilly, girly dance product. For the price and convenience, you cannot beat it, but if you are looking for "Dance Mom" crazy amount of dance obligations and frills then leave it.
