I've spent about $700 buying different hair products over the last year, most of them pomades. Yeah, seriously. Some really suck, other are decent but nothing too great, some smell AMAZING....but there are only 2 pomades I've tried that ACTUALLY have strong hold; this Rosewood pomade, and Imperial Barber classic pomade. Rosewood was better though for 2 reasons. It has a better smell, and it doesn't gunk up your hair. Imperial barber smells like fake watermelon and it's fairly gunky. Maybe I just need to emulsify it better. Rosewood pomade is better though. It's extremely strong, it smells better and it does have a good shine. I work in the medical field and after a 12 hour busy day, my hair still looks fresh. It won’t give you a wet-greasy look and So far, I haven’t had flaking problems that I had issues with other products. It’s water soluble so it rinses off easily. Best pomade I’ve used so far.
