Review: UPDATE - this works very well, my battery was actually dead! - I previously reviewed this harshly, as it failed to start the car at all. A week later it turns out the battery was actually dead like fully dead. It was pretty old so I probably should have investigated this first. Since I do not like leaving a review in error, especially if its entirely my error, I drained the new battery on purpose, and started it with this DeWalt booster/jumper, and it actually works really well, with no wierd "plug in, wait 15 seconds, then start within 30 seconds or you have to restart the whole process" procedure, and the capacity to start the car several times before requiring a charge. Also it is perhaps of note, as I found while investigating the battery/jump pack relationship this past week, that my car is a V8, which are apprently harder to jump in this manner. With that in mind, the performance of this box is FAR better than the cheap ones. The best one of those I have had lasted 2 winters, still had the wierd procedure requirement, and would only start the car twice on a full charge.
