Shreds got us thru kidney disease when the sick cat would eat nothing but gravy and a few morsels. I would put a can of shreds in a manual ricer and squeeze out all the gravy then crumble up as much solid meat as I dared. It also worked for cats with other issues that kept them from chewing downing solid food for whatever reason. This is a good brand to use as a base for your budget and pets nutrition.
