Can you pleaee include that?** A: I plant one and feed the rest to tortoises. The one I plant, I let lay out for a few days and then plant in a pot, so I can bring it in winter, but my neighbor has some out all year that look dead in the winter and come back to life annually. **Q: When planted, will the new growth have spines/needles?** A: All opuntia will have needles. the one you plant is an old one from the bottom of a plant. after this isplanted the new ones will be of course tender with spines just very tiny. it will be easy to peel with a sharp knife. I hope this helps. if you see a video posted by somebody in tennesse you will see the difference between bottom ones and the very top ones. **Q: How to plant** A: I just stuck mine in concrete planters of dirt. If I plant them in the ground my tortoise eats them too fast. Very high quality and ready to make my juice ### ⭐ Probably a fraud *by L***D on May 7, 2022* So the picture of the product has it growing in a garden and blooming. My pictures show what I got and it certainly looks as though all the spines were scraped off which does not cause future plants to be spineless as the description of the product suggests. In addition the pads are in such bad shape I seriously doubt any will grow I have planted them and will update this post if they do anything but rot. One of the most pathetic products I've ever gotten from an Amazon Seller but probably not something I will fuss with returning. Stay tuned.Update I ordered a spineless version from another seller and got what I believe is a quality product. Plump pads no sign of scraping off the spines but handling and observation gave no sign of spines and I have high hopes for them. I will not give that other seller here because too many Amazon reviews are "Product X is terrible buy product Y! (submitted by the seller of Y) and that is not my intent with this review.
