The pour is smooth, and the lid fits well and is kept firmly in place by two inner clips, so there's no danger of it falling off as I'm pouring, and there are no accidental spills. The handle is large and easy to grip, and positioned so the steam from the water doesn't burn my hand as I pour.The full kettle (1.7 litres) boils from cold in about two and a half minutes, and it's about as quiet or noisy as any other kettle I've owned – I've not heard any of the crackling noises that another review has mentioned, so possibly that kettle was a faulty one. I've had no leaks at all from it, and the automatic cut-off once the water has reached boiling point has been perfectly reliable (the on/off switch doesn't feel entirely solid, but it has been fine so far - if I do have any problems down the line, I'll update this review to reflect).There are three small red plastic water-level markers inside the kettle, so I can fill it with just enough water for one, two, or three cups, which makes up for the lack of a water-level window; I do find the lack of a water-level window to be a bit of a niggle, but the top opening is large enough to see inside whilst filling it from the tap, so it's not really a bother. Apart from these markers, the inside is all metal (and so plastic-free), so there is no plastic taste to the boiled water, which makes more of a difference to the taste of tea and coffee than I would have guessed – they taste much nicer now than when I was using a plastic kettle. I found the price very reasonable. Does the trick warms the water up very well and quickly better than our previous kettle that wasn't tussle hobs and cost more money. however I have 2 issues with is product not on its skills of heating up water which is its main function. I feel that the lid is awkward as you have to pull it off and if you try to pull it off after its only just boiled and your poured the boiling water out into the tea cups already. which I do often as in our house hold you make teas and then everyone else asks as soon as yours has boiled it awkward! I tell you why the lid sticks and then you pull it off and its flicks hot water back up at you even though it no longer has the boiling water on it. but I can get past that. this factor can be resolved by just waiting a few minutes to let the kettle cool. the main problem is you can't see how much water you put in on the side theres no real guide so its hard to judge if you have the correct amount.
