I'm not familiar with your Sous Vide but for my 1 gallon water distiller, I use 3 tablespoons in 1-3 inches of water. 6 tablespoons in more water, up to 1/2 gallon. I don't have build up higher than that. Directions on many of these descalers say to let sit for many hours. I put the citric acid in and start the distiller outside with the top off for 30 minutes then it's done. After draining the citric acid water, I wash out the inside of the clean distiller with dish soap. A simple rinse without soap will not always remove the citric acid from the metal. In all my cleaning, I will use a 12inch long handle cleaning bottle brush. It comes out just as clean as the day I bought it. I use the bottle brush after each gallon distilled, only using water, on any loose build up in the distiller, to delay using the citric acid for sometimes 50 gallons distilled or more. **Q: I have a leveluk 501sd machine from enagic. can i use this in their cleaning unit?** A: I think it is universal and that it can be used in any distiller.
