## Description

The CRAFTSMAN 16 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac, featuring our most powerful 6.5 Peak HP motor, is the ideal solution for tackling large cleanup projects in the garage or on the jobsite that need the most power. Large scale renovations, builds, or floods are an easy task for this large shop vacuum. This wet dry vac includes a car nozzle, utility nozzle and wet nozzle. Also included is a large 2-1/2 in. diameter hose with added Dual-Flex that resists kinks and crushing. On-board hose storage plus accessory and power cord organizers help eliminate unneeded hassle and reduce overall storage space. The Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System allows for quick and easy wet dry vacuum filter changes. Equipped with an extra-large drain, the tank empties liquids quickly and easily. The blowing port directs high speed exhaust air through the hose giving you the ability to go from cleaning up from a renovation to blasting yard waste from the deck. The included dust collection bags are designed for pick-up of everyday dirt and other dry debris. They help contain all the debris from your home improvement projects, big or small and keep your vac from blowing the fine particles back into the air. Bags are easy to install by attaching to vacuum port inside tank without needing tools and are even easier to toss away. *Gallons indicated reflect drum volume, not necessarily collection capacity, actual capacity dependent upon type of debris collected, condition of filter and other factors. Peak horsepower represents a level at or below the maximum horsepower output of an electric motor tested in a laboratory using a dynamometer.

Review: Great vac; assembly more difficult than expected, but doable by a senior - The vacuum itself is great and well-built. The suction power is very strong. It removed dried cat puke--newly discovered and there for I don't know how long--without me having to loosen it first. There was also a renegade sock nearby that now belongs to Craftsman. Giving only 4 stars because of assembly, which was an elaborate practical joke. Three of the four assembly steps required substantially more force than any reasonable person would expect. Step 1: Install casters Instructions: Push until it clicks. Reality: Assume the stance of a medieval siege engine and deploy approximately 200 pounds of force (no kidding on the force--I had to turn it right side up and stand on the castor feet while leaning against a wall so as to apply all of my weight). Step 2: Install hose clip Instructions: Insert screw. Reality: Bend plastic to the edge of structural failure while maintaining screwdriver alignment and bargaining with the deity of your choice that you don't snap the hose clip in half. Step 3: Install handle Instructions: Insert screws. Reality: Discover that the self-tapping screws were apparently designed to be installed by hydraulic press. Step 4: Install hose Instructions: Insert hose until it clicks. Reality: Insert hose until it clicks. The hose installation was refreshingly honest.

The vacuum itself is great and well-built. The suction power is very strong. It removed dried cat puke--newly discovered and there for I don't know how long--without me having to loosen it first. There was also a renegade sock nearby that now belongs to Craftsman. Giving only 4 stars because of assembly, which was an elaborate practical joke. Three of the four assembly steps required substantially more force than any reasonable person would expect. Step 1: Install casters Instructions: Push until it clicks.
