However, the weight of the watch tightens the cord around my wrist and then the surplus of the cord allows the watch to hang, basically. I'm not sure how to say it, but the watch tends to fall to the flat of the wrist, where it can collide with surfaces like your desk or counter. It's pretty annoying whenever I want to look at my watch and I have to try to loosen the cord around my wrist to turn it and then look at the time.
