It is probably smaller than we need as a family of 5, but we've made it work for us. The size of the nugget ice is great! It takes about 6 cups of water to fill it up and it's super easy to fill. The only down side we've found is the ice is still pretty watery as it comes out. So if you move it to your freezer you'll get large clumps.
