That price is outrageous for a solenoid valve on a timer.** A: The price seems reasonable to me for a quality solenoid valve. **Q: How long after applying power does the timer start ? ex: might wire this to power on only with the compressor motor so doesn't drain all night** A: you can set the timer to drain anywhere from every few minutes, to every hour or so, and the timer can also be set from a few seconds to 15 seconds i believe. **Q: Will this fit the Sanborn Black Max 20-gallon air compressor?** A: it should fit any comprssor that has a 1/4" NPT drain hole, or you can use adapters to get it to "fit" your drain plug hole. **Q: How is this mounted, is there any kind of mounting bracket to hold it?** A: I installed the IR Edv 200 on my Quincy upright air compressor. I replaced the plumbing underneath the air compressor . I extended the plumbing out from underneath air compressor.I installed the IR Edv 200 on the end of the plumbing.
