Joseph Joseph 3-in-1 Design Rotary Peeler, Grey

I watched the video on the joseph & joseph website so many times before deciding to finally buy this peeler. I immediately tried it out on a potato using all three blades to see what it was capable of. All three blades have a special function. The regular blade is good for things like potatoes. The serrated blade (without the razors sticking up) is for soft skinned foods, think eggplants, tomatoes etc. and does a great job of removing the skin without damaging the delicate fruit underneath. The other serrated blade (with the razors) is for julienned cuts. I, however, use this blade exclusively when peeling the outside of my carrots in addition to when I want fancy cuts for stirfrys. The shape makes it easy to grip, even when wet. The only drawback is when you are peeling a small potato it can get a little dicey on if you will hit your fingers. The hook on the outside is for removing the eyes on potatoes and has no problem punching a little hole around them. (My husbands #1 reason for liking this!) At first I couldn't figure out how to get it open but all you have to do is hold both sides and twist and it will pop right open. Cleaning is a breeze, just a quick rinse and it is good to go!

I like the compact design, except that it will take a little getting used to since it is different to peel while holding directly above the blade rather than with a handle off to the side of the blade. I love that it easily twists open for cleaning and that I have two more blades to use that I never had before. Also, I found that it is very sharp since it easily cuts more deeply into a carrot than I thought I was applying pressure for. Like I said before, it will take a little getting used to... but I'm sure it will be worth it since I have always liked the Joseph Joseph products I have purchased in the past.

Wish i could give it another half star it is not quite a three yet not a four either. I have small hands and it does not fit well in them. Works great otherwise, I have gotten used to the awkward feel and have adapted. I do like that i can switch the type of peeling i want to do.

rate this as just ok as it is a little more difficult to grip than a peeler with a handle. The plus is having 3 peelers in one.

This versatile tool allows you to select three options for shredding and peeler vegetables. I love the design and its super easy to clean. Joseph Joseph products are always unique and modern.

I find this peeler a little hard to use. I purchased this product because it had 3 different blades in it. Not as happy as I hoped to be.

Came in unopened plastic...brand new ....at half price, this was an excellent find....very unique design but it is functional and works well. Came in a timely manner.

Its not what I expected and hard to clean.

Didn't check the product as the one delivered to me was very old and showed rust dots on the steel areas. Suggest not to buy the product online

This is a pain to clean but works well for me, the 2 clear plastic segments are a little loose now but holds together still and works perfectly.It's quite easy to catch yourself with it and the blades are razor sharp. Can get a little uncomfortable with a lot of use but does the job.

Doesn't do the job so well

It is the magic "Joseph Joseph" again! Great peeler for my wife who has arthritis in her hands and wrists. The peeler is a good size to fit in the hand and not lose grip on to. Only one blade is ever exposed, so it is safe too. (10/10 for the videos on the Amazon site to show the various functions before you buy). As I have written before... another Joseph Joseph winner! (I wish I had shares in the company....)
