## Description

Jolie Home offers premier decorative paints, topcoats, brushes, and embellishment products. Jolie Paint is a water-based, non-toxic, and quick-drying paint for furniture, cabinetry, floors, walls, and home accessories. It is available in 40 pre-tinted colors that can be mixed together to create custom colors that will match or complement any color you have in your space. Use with Jolie brushes to achieve beautiful painted finishes, such as smooth, modern, distressed, textured, and many more. Jolie Paint works for any style, from contemporary to vintage, traditional to bohemian, and coastal to farmhouse. It adheres to almost any surface, including wood, previously painted and finished surfaces, matte plastics, stone, brick, concrete, and metal. For interior projects, use Jolie Paint with complementary products such as Jolie Finishing Waxes or Jolie Floor Varnish, to seal and protect your finish and enhance durability. For exterior projects, you should not seal your painted finish. Jolie Finishing Wax will seal and protect interior furniture and home accessories that have been painted with Jolie Paint. It will create a beautiful matte finish or it can be buffed to produce a subtle sheen. Jolie Finishing Wax has a soft consistency, no odor, and easy application. Jolie Finishing Wax is available in a variety of colors (in 120ml and 500ml sizes) that can be used to bring out the texture in your brushwork, highlight details and moldings, and create gorgeous custom finishes. For best results, always apply Jolie Finishing Wax in Clear to your surface before layering on colored Finishing Waxes. A portion of every online sale is given back to local Jolie retailers. Visit our website to watch tutorial videos, read the Jolie Everyday Guide for step-by-step instructions, and find a local retailer.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used over latex paint and if the latex paint is gloss will it look matte after applied?**
A: Yes, the wax can be used over latex paint. Buffing the wax is what makes it shiny, the wax has a naturally matte finish so apply it, wipe off the excess and just let it cure for a couple of weeks. Buffing the wax is what makes it shiny.

**Q: Can you use this over a wood stain?**
A: Yes. This wax is very easy to work with. If you need to see how it works on wood look up Annie Sloan was on wood on utube. This wax however will not protect surfaces from long periods of standing water. I have covered coffee tables and side tables with it but always advise to protect by using a coaster and wipe dust with a dry clean cloth.

**Q: Can I use it for my stairs steps?**
A: No, we do not recommend our Jolie Finishing Wax for floors. You can create a brown "wax" look by doing a Wash or Dry Brush Finish with our Truffle or Espresso Jolie Paint, then seal with the Floor Varnish. For step-by-step directions on how to achieve these finishes, please review the Everyday Guide on the Jolie brand page.

**Q: Can this paint be used on fabric furniture?**
A: This is our Finishing Wax topcoat, but our paint- Jolie Paint can be used to paint your fabric. We have tips to do so featured under How to Use- Articles on our website.
