Returned and purchased this for he 6 longs my husband just keep his pinky splinted at night post surgery for Dupuytren contracture (Vikings disease). Very, very similar to the one that woukd have cost $400+ to have a hand specialist specially designed one for him. He’s hard on his hands so I wouldn’t be surprised if we need another before the end of the 6 months but that just him and most people will have no problem making it last that long. It’s a him flaw, not a cheap product flaw. Either way.. $60 beats $400*.Metal bar is not at all difficult to shape unlike others have said, and I’m on chemo and fairly weak so I’m thinking that may be a problem only certain people may have. I usually have a hard time finding gloves and braces that fit. This was the only ulnar gutter type splint i could find online that has a dedicated XL size. The rest were all L/XL. I don't trust that as they rarely fit. This one fit perfectly and i love how adjustable it is. It's helped the healing a lot.
