I ordered a medium pair in a different brand and they had more compression but seemed to cut off the circulation in my thumb. My hands/fingers are also rather thin. If you have a fuller hand/fingers, a medium should definitely be fine. Hope this helps. **Q: How tight should the gloves be? Mine's causing skin creases.** A: These appear to be women’s gloves as they have a woman on the cover and most pictures are women. I ordered the large and I would say for a man that would be a medium or small. The fit is extremely tight except for a man with small hands. The only reason I could think people say they fit right is they’re ordered by women. now if you want an extremely tight glove that might be a thing and I just don’t know about it.
