Review: Prep and time! - Used the glue on a good quality but old (10 years +) self-inflating mat. The valve unit had completely detached, but was in good condition. Before following the instructions, I carefully removed old glue from the valve unit and the contact surfaces of the mat. I used a sharp edge as a scraper - surprising how much residue was there. Definitely worth the effort though. A reasonable layer of glue on both surfaces allowed to go tacky as per instructions, then the bit that literally made it stick - I clamped in as many places as possible with clothes pegs to avoid weak points. I then let the glue and mat alone for 3 days to allow it to cure - this isn't instant bond. The outcome was perfect - 2 nights of very large me, and not a hint of a leak. Great job!
