Review: Beautiful wood and easy to use - The chopping board was packaged really well (not too much, not too little) and the box came in super handy when it came to seasoning the board. I kept it in there while I was doing it so I didn’t get the coconut oil everywhere. It’s really easy to clean, (just give it a wipe over) I then leave it leaning up against the side so it dries properly. The wood is beautiful, It looks good in my kitchen. A lovely piece, it will last some time........well worth the money
Review: Very good quality - As a keen cook, a decent board is needed and this fits the bill. Brilliant piece of wood, well made and solid feel to the product. What quality and beautiful board. It is more impressive than I thought it would be. It is almost too lovely to cut on. It is a total delight to have in the kitchen and puts a smile on my face when I use it. Love it. The board needs to be waxed before you can use it. I use coconut oil and worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How heavy is the board itself? And what are the exact dimensions?**
A: The board weighs 4 pounds, and it is 11 inches wide by 17 inches long by 0.75 inches thick!

**Q: Virginia Boys: Do you make or stock a larger version of this?**
A: Hi there! Good news, C. Oyler! Since we received your question, we've worked hard and have come up with an extra large version of the same board. It's an 18x24 version of the board (also with a juice groove) that you'll find available next to our original 17x11 board. Thanks again for asking and spurring us to action, and we hope this helps. All the best,The Virginia Boys

**Q: How long will this board last? Do I have to do anything special to maintain it?**
A: Never put your cutting board in the dishwasher. Never leave your cutting board sitting in water. Store the board upright to dry or for long term storage; don't leave it flat on a countertop. Use a board conditioner, food grade mineral oil, or whatever they choose to send with their boards, after every couple uses; after every use if you're using soap to clean it. If you notice the board starting to warp slightly, flip the board over; this likely happened because the board was left wet on a countertop and it dried out unevenly (top before bottom). Oil the board a couple times a day for like a week right after you get it since it's probably dry since it's sat in an amazon warehouse for a while. If you do that, your board will last quite a while!

**Q: this board looks grey? is it or is there a color selection option ?**
A: To understand wood and colors, if its Heart wood then will be dark and sap wood is light, Walnut is very dark if Heart wood but almost looks like Maple if sap wood. Then also Walnut comes in many species ,. Like Black walnut and many others.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely product!
*by S***J on 22 March 2019*

I'm absolutely in love with this chopping board! It arrived unseasoned with all the instructions I could possibly need to use it. A good dollop of unrefined organic coconut oil later and I had a beautiful looking walnut chopping board to use. I now use the board everyday and find it very easy to clean and very durable. It is slimmer than other wooden boards I have used but in no way inferior and if anything than makes it easier to store in my kitchen! I can see myself using this chopping board for a long time to come!
