The M/L is snug but not unbearably tight nor is it tight to the point of being inappropriate. However, the dress is quite short, so if you're purchasing this costume for a work function, I would plan on pairing it with some skin-colored leggings because it tends to scoot up when walking.The material is thin, something to think about if you're in a colder climate. The vest that comes with the dress is not attached, which for me is a plus as it allows for more versatility.As much as I love this costume, I don't believe the quality and the THREE pieces that is comes with are worth the price. Now, if it came with everything that I'm wearing in the picture, that's a different story.
