It's not like I ever thought I wanted pepsi shampoo, but I do now. **Q: Can this be refrigerated before and after opening?** A: Even though all the soda flavors contain sodium benzoate as a food preservative, it says on the back of the bottles, "refrigerate after opening". **Q: Instructions says fill cap to inner middle line, I assume this is for 1 liter of carbonated water?** A: First, I flavor mine with Starry. I go from the middle line up, depending on how strong I want. I did have 1 bottle that sat unopened for a few years, and I think the synthetic sugar in it broke down (as it tends to do) and the result tasted off. When making it "fresh", its fine.
