I want to clamp to a board in my roll around cart.** A: One was able to go vertical however the other one ... I couldn’t get the screw to screw in the hole. It was very difficult. **Q: Does it work on a pontton?** A: I would say yes, depending on the thickness of the top lip of your walls around. I had to make a few stationary brackets for my bass boat because they fit over the lip of the boat.
