Weight is distributed evenly and doesn't leave me with back discomfort when wearing it. I bought this to replace another backpack that failed for school. As far as cons, well I feel this is a perfect bag for a weekend getaway or daily outings. But using this for school, I'd recommend getting a different bag that has more exterior zippers and pouches. It's a hassle constantly opening and closing it for little things. I'm almost done with university so I will get by with this until I graduate. But I'm definitely keeping it for overnight trips and hiking.
