Review: Small, pricey, but they work. Ingredient breakdown here - 1. Direct answer Those wipes are basically an acidic antimicrobial skin wipe built around vinegar chemistry. The strong vinegar smell is from acetic acid — the same primary acid in vinegar. That acid lowers skin pH and helps suppress odor-causing bacteria and fungi on the feet. The ingredient list is actually pretty simple compared to many “medicated” foot products. Key ingredients and what they’re doing: Acetic Acid → the main active component Acidifies the skin Helps reduce bacteria/fungus growth Cuts odor Can mildly exfoliate dead skin Gluconolactone → gentle exfoliating acid (PHA) Helps remove dead skin Less irritating than glycolic acid Calcium Gluconate → buffering/stabilizing ingredient Helps reduce harshness from the acids Glycerin + Jojoba Oil Prevent the formula from drying your skin out too aggressively Tea Tree Oil Mild antimicrobial/antifungal properties Also contributes to the medicinal smell Lavender/Rose/Carrot Seed oils Mostly fragrance + skin conditioning Some antioxidant effect, but largely marketing garnish Sodium Benzoate Preservative This is not magic. It’s basically: > “Lower foot pH + mild exfoliation + antimicrobial oils.” That combination legitimately can help: foot odor sweaty feet mild athlete’s foot tendencies shoe funk skin turnover 2. How I got here I’m looking at the chemistry and separating: actual functional actives stabilizers moisturizers fragrance oils The formula is coherent. It’s not random “clean beauty” nonsense thrown together without purpose. The vinegar smell is a feature, not a defect. The real mechanism is: acidic environment → less hospitable for microbes mild keratolysis/exfoliation → less trapped dead skin/bacteria some antimicrobial support from tea tree 3. Alternative perspectives / stress test Here’s the part companies won’t say: This is probably dramatically cheaper to manufacture than the branding suggests. You could reproduce 80% of the effect with: diluted white vinegar soft cloth moisturizer afterward The differentiator is convenience + skin-balancing ingredients. Also: “Natural oils” are not automatically better. Tea tree and fragrance oils can irritate sensitive skin. If someone has eczema, cracked skin, or dermatitis, this formula could sting badly. And if someone has persistent: peeling itching nail discoloration severe odor …then wipes are treating symptoms, not the underlying fungal issue. 4. Practical action plan If they work for you: keep using them especially after sweating, gym, work boots, or long days To maximize results: rotate/dry shoes fully use moisture-wicking socks avoid constantly damp footwear If your feet get dry or irritated: reduce frequency moisturize at night
Review: These seem to be really helping, together with anti-fungal cream - I am really liking these wipes a lot! They are pretty expensive, for sure…but I have had a worsening fungal situation on my one foot for about a year now, defying all previous measures (eg: washing and dollar-tree anti-fungal cream, ignoring the problem). So I decided to give this problem all the attention needed to resolve it, before it gets even worse. These wipes have a very strong lavender smell when first opened. I am quite sensitive to artificial fragrances (the ingredient called “fragrance” is generally “no” for me), but essential oils like in this product are usually OK, and I found it to be true here. The strong smell dissipated after about a week. I think its purpose was to cover the “vinegar” smell of the acids, which I believe are the true active ingredients to these wipes—note the name “pHeet”—ie acid/alkaline pH ratio…. I read a review of someone who found that these were too small to wipe down a whole foot…that has not been my experience at all. On the contrary, I have been using one wipe for both feet, first cutting the wipe in half so as not to share fungus between feet. I find one half of a wipe to be plenty to thoroughly wet my entire foot. I like the wipe format, because I can scrub on my feet a little with the wipe, to debride the area of dead skin cells. I let the first foot dry while I wipe my second foot. Next, I apply Lotrimin-Ultra to the feet, really rubbing it into the skin so it won’t feel gooey. To end my routine, I take half a regular unscented baby wipe (to get the strong smells of the wipes off my fingers, which get close to my face/nose during sleep) to wipe off my fingers, and throw the whole pile of refuse into my bedside trashcan. I am really glad I thought of wiping my hands with a baby wipe. The need to clean my hands after addressing the fungus was a hurdle that had really fueled my reluctance to care for my feet until now. I did not want to walk across my carpet to the bathroom with gooey anti-fungal feet in order to wash hands at the sink. But this way, I clean my hands while still in bed, and just wish my self and my feet a loving good night.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I just got them and they seem dry. Not wet enough to do both feet at all. Please advise. Is this normal?**
A: The wipes have just the right amount of wetness and solution to clean both feet. If you feel that you'd like to use one wipe per foot, you can do that.

**Q: item can use for my mom ?**
A: You should be able to do so. If you have some specific concerns ask her medical doctor. Some people complain about the smell. This is a fix. I use disposable gloves. My feet look much better and I am of a particular age.

**Q: Can it be used for jock itch?**
A: I doubt that the product is strong enough.

**Q: Are they pH balanced?**
A: Yes, pHeet Wipes have a specific pH that kill bacteria and fungus. They also contain natural oils that have antiseptic properties that help clean and moisturize the feet in a convenient on-the-go wipe.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Foot Wipes Work Well
*by D***A on March 5, 2026*

The wipes are good. The smell is odd and not eucalyptus at all. Also, they are a bit small for use on feet. They curl up while in use and are just a bit flimsy. However, I am using them, and they do work well enough.
