The fact that they are made of aluminum rather than steel has been a non issue for me. They are not super pointy but they get into to tight spaces good, k2tog’s are not stressful. The only draw back is that the needles sizes are not on the needles, I wish that they could find some way to add the needles sizes onto the needles that kept the price point the same, made try clear labels affixed with the needle size and a better storage case or at least the option to upgrade to a sturdier storage case, for me that would be the winning changes to give this set a full five stars but other than those two things, I purchased the larger needles and the 16” set and I regret neither purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2019* Great product for the dollars involved. Am Beginner to Inter. knitter and the 16 inch circular needles were perfect for the project I am working on. Only downside is that the needles themselves are not marked with the sizes, but since the unit came with a measuring device, that is easily rectified. I do plan to mark each pocket with the correct sizes just to make sure they get put back properly and are a bit easier to locate. Not sure if I want to make the needles themselves as I wouldn't want anything to interfere with how smoothly the yarn knits as this time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very happy with this needle set *by G***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2019* This is a really good set of needles, they are tightened with a "key" and don't come apart while knitting like other sets do. The transition between the needle and cable is super smooth and yarn never gets tangled there.
