This not only does not make my face itch, burn or swell, but delivers on the promises it makes pretty quickly: my swelling went down, my redness is much subtler and I have no itching around my nose (which for me is a constant). Naturally other people might be sensitive to this, but if you have similar skin to mine (acne and irritation prone, sensitive, oily) you might do well with this, even if it is an azelaic acid derivative rather than azelaic acid.
