Pretty thin material so dont know how well it will hold up to snags in the woods. It is breathable. The only drawback I've noticed so far is that the inside of the jacket is SNOW WHITE. So needless to say ,you dont want it open if you're deer or duck hunting. And the hood is not detachable and is also snow white on the inside. So. Will it shed the rain ? Yes. Is it suitable for hunting ?
