The Liberator makes no more noise than my sheets. I have the King size Liberator on my Queen size bed and I wash it 1-2 times a week. Great product. Great investment. It has not faded and looks the same as first purchased. It has never let me down. **Q: Does coconut oil stain it?** A: No it does not. The Liberator is in a league of its own. Enjoy :-) **Q: Does this need to be washed after every wash? Is washing best, or can you simply dry it sometimes? I will be using this very, very often.** A: I suggest you wash it every time. If you are getting body fluids on it (which is it what it is used for) no matter how "watery" they are there can be some residual oder if you were to only dry it. But you can try and see what your result is. **Q: How is this with oil (coconut, almond, mineral), does it stain and how well does it clean out?** A: Don’t really use any oils so don’t know. I guess the liner finally gave up. But it worked great for a long time. Trying to keep this PG-13, it takes any amount of body fluid that you can make. No puddles, absorbent, yet doesn't soak through to the other side. Washes clean on delicate and dries in two 1 hour cycles on low. There is never any lint after drying which tells me this is going to last for a very long time.
