Review: full length, over all protection - This is a great lightwieight overall raincoat. My granddaughter is 8 years old, 76 lbs. I bought the 11-12 size and it has room for her to grow for the whole year if not two years. It comes down to just above her ankles (she's 4' 1 1/2" tall). It also has a clear visor across the top of the face at the edge of the hood which she loves. This will keep her dry on those windy rainy days or rainy days when it's not very cold, although it has plenty of room to have a sweater or jacket on underneath, if needed! Highly recommend!

My daughter loves her raincoat. We sized way up and it was perfect — covered her from head to toe. If you go with her true size, it’s more of a knee-length fit.
