The gravity on the moon is about 0.16 times earth gravity, so no it doesn't work on the moon. :) - Please make sure you bring the Hoverpen 2.0 with you if you're traveling to a planet that allows it to hover. Also we will suggest you bring more Hoverpens with you in case you have to gift something to aliens. **Q: What type of point is it? #.##mm?** A: It comes with a Schmidt 635 Mini D1 refill F (0.8mm) in the pen, and an extra Schmidt 635 refill M (1.0mm) in the package. **Q: How hard is it to get it into the hovering position** A: It's much much easier compared to those items hovering with electromagnetic power!
