If I didnt use the conditioner and serum, I would likely still use this. The ingredients are excellent, and it makes my hair look full and healthy. As for stopping or reducing hair loss, or encouraging hair growth? that takes a long while to tell. I use minoxidil, and I use other DHT blocking shampoo and conditioners. It does help. Now, unlike some people, I do not wash my hair daily. I wash no more than 2-3x a week. I have long, wavy/curly hair that leans dry, and the washing process is just too much for my hair and scalp, hence the low frequency. Even so, when it comes to the shampoo and conditioner, it seems to help. I'll keep using it. Small bottle but it lasts a very long time. No need to use a lot.Since it isn't full of crap ingredients, the shampooing experience may feel like a lot is needed to get a lather if you are used to typical products. So this is what I suggest: Get your hair thoroughly wet. Add a tiny bit of shampoo-- just a smidge. Work it in best you can, even if it is only top portion of head. It wont be sudsy yet. No worries. Basically you are allowing the shampoo to break up any grime or product that is in hair. The add some water, massage again,. Then rinse, and/or just add in a small/normal amount of shampoo. You will notice that it now explodes into lather. This is now cleaning your hair the rest of the way. I leave it on as I proceed to wash my body. If I plan to use conditioner, then I allow a couple of minutes for that too. The shampoo though is most important to me.I like it, I'll keep using it.
