I like the 12 bit magnetic system better because you can use the bits in most single sided 1/4 inch drivers like a screw guide or another 1/4 inch drive screwdriver. The dual sided bits are harder to find and won't fit in most screw guides and other 1/4 inch drivers. Also, I like being able to customize the driver for my application and the Megapro allows me 12 individual choices for whatever purpose I choose. To my knowledge, Megapro makes the Channellock drivers. The ratcheting drivers are made in Canada and the regular drivers are made here in the USA. Unfortunately, all bits are made in Taiwan.
