Review: Healthy and Yummy - I have wanted to introduce Kale into my diet, knowing about the nutritional benefits, but just don't like the taste of raw or cooked kale leaves. This powder is the solution to my problem. The flavor is wonderful, especially if you mix it into vegetable juice. One thing I have learned is that I find that the powder dissolves better in warm water, so what I do is put about one heaping tablespoon of this Kale powder into about 2 ounces of warm/hot water. Six table spoons into 12 ounces of water from the coffee maker (without the coffee) into a glass jar which I thoroughly mix and keep it in the refrigerator. That gives me about four servings which I add two or three ounces of the liquid into 8 ounces of vegetable juice. So far, my favorite mix is kale powder with carrot juice and a splash of lemon or lime juice. Yummy!

**Q: How much kale is in one scoop of powder? As one scoop of powder has the equivalent of x cups of kale?**
A: Dehydrated food retains all of the same nutrients, including caloric content. So if there is 36 calories per serving of kale and 4 calories per serving of the powder, then 36/4=9 servings (4 and 1/2 scoops) of the powder to equal one serving of fresh kale (130g).

**Q: Dont see on the bag where it is grown?is it grown in ca or just packaged here. product of usa doesnt mean it was grown in the usa.**
A: I thought I knew this answer when I bought it.  It says “Product of USA”, which automatically makes you think it is grown here. Your question made me think about it and when I looked at my bag, I realized it really does not say it is grown in California or the US. I tried to find information on MicroIngredients Superfoods and see if they would be more specific about it.  Found their website and read several pages. It looks good at first, but it really never says just where the source is.  They are “suppliers” and draw from around the world. The following is quoted from their website:

**Q: Can you show me where the kosher symbol is?**
A: I checked my package and used a magnifying glass on the small print.  There is no kosher symbol on this package nor any hint anywhere that it is kosher.  Hope this helps you.

**Q: What's going on? this product says kale yet questions /reviews are for curcumin(?) confusing + needs fixing.**
A: I am perplexed on the reviews as well. The kale power is the subject, but the reviews is for cur cumin. That would need to be fixed.... Thank you..
