You need a 5 inch mattress for this bed! It Is sturdy, somewhat of an annoyance to put together but not a bad product. Comes with a lot of extra Hardware, just incase.

Bought this in espresso for my 8 month old. We have yet to use it, due to me not thinking of mattress height. We have 10” in his room. You need a 5 inch mattress for this bed!
