It's very easy to use, just put it over a ball and lift out. Even in murky water it is easy, you just have to feel the ball and push it down onto the ball. I've had the ones you have to turn, and they work OK, if you can see the ball. But often the cup hits something and will not turn to capture the gall. This retriever can lock the sections with a twist, making them rigid when necessary. I have never needed the full 15 foot length, but not I would want to fish for anything further away. Nice and light but sturdy and highly visible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by G***S on June 7, 2007* Folds up small, and easily expands to its full length. It fits easily into the long pocket of my golf bag, so I don't have to take up space where the clubs go.Works really well - not like the usual "cup" at the end of a stick.
