Reinforced with anti-wear additives, rust and corrosion inhibitors to provide unparalleled protection and longevity for your device. Ideal for all outboards and tailgate drives, this gear lubricant is compatible with top brands such as Mercury, Mercruiser, Johnson, Evinrude, OMC, Force, Mariner, Nissan, Suzuki, Yamaha, Volvo, Tohatsu and other brands and will not void the manufacturer's warranty. It complies with SAE J2360 specifications and is ideal for those seeking reliable, high-quality maintenance for marine engines. How to Use: For flushing and filling instructions, please refer to the manufacturer's engine service manual. [Not] 1) Remove the upper and lower plug of the lower unit gear case to drain out the old oil completely. 2) Install the fill tube to the bottom hole. For 10 oz tubes, we recommend using the STAR BRITE lower unit quart pump (#27410) or lubricant (#28600). 10mm adapters are provided for connections that are not standard 3/8" or 8mm fittings. 3) Slowly refill the new lubricant until the liquid appears at the edge of the top hole. 4) Replace the upper plug and tighten it tightly. 5) Remove the fill tube from the bottom hole and replace the bottom plug. Tighten tightly.
