Overall this is a great workbook for homeschooling children that need an extra social studies curriculum. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect curriculum for homeschool kindergarten social studies! *by S***T on May 15, 2023* This book is thicker than I expected (which isn't bad), and I love that it gives an introduction into several topics in one curriculum- history, civics, social studies, geography, and money (economics). These are all important topics, and each can be studied more thoroughly as individual subjects in later school years. I always read reviews of products before purchasing them, and I was quite baffled and appalled that another reviewer labeled this book as "patriotic indoctrination." I'm absolutely horrified at what that person may be teaching their poor child. This book simply shows how to recognize American symbols, something I believe is very important, and pays homage to the American flag and its military. One page asks "What do we put on graves on Memorial Day?" and shows a picture of a military cemetary. We SHOULD be teaching our children things like this, as the US Flag (and those who have fought under it) deserve a great amount of respect.
